Her job is "intake," which basically means sales. She is one of the attorneys who talks to the teeming mass of humanity that contacts my shitlaw firm daily, and tries to convince them to pay us money.
She has been doing the job for a couple of months now. I hired her after another chick who was covering her sales territory quit. Previous chick did very well incidentally.
Anyway, she has never really taken off. Has had like one good week in her time in the job, usually is about 30-50% below the sales of her predecessor. Is also defensive and resistant to coaching. I have spent a lot of time sitting with her on calls. She works hard and says the right things, but it's just not clicking. Should I fire her? If not, how do I get her on track?
