boiling water combined with a bunch of crushed leaves from the mint plants outside (i guess it doesn't have to be fresh, but why not try), two crushed garlic cloves, a 'thumb' or so of shredded ginger (never tried powder), juice from a squeezed lemon, 2 shots of wild turkey 101, a tablespoon of honey, and half of a mild/moderately-spicy pepper like a cayenne or a jalapeno (we're trying to be effective here; not sadistic).

i don't really get 'sick' as such, because this thing KTFOs incipient colds or flus with no mercy and within a couple of rounds.
