Date: November 28th, 2025 3:08 PM Author: Clear bisexual library feces this is the problem with solo comedy podcasts that start taking themselves too seriously. stuff like cumtown and matt and shane remained funny because it's just riffing and the whenever someone gets too political the other dudes will start riffing on them for being too serious. it's the same as a bunch of bros shooting the shit. tim doesn't have (and avoids) anyone there to be like "bro you don't know wtf you're talking about."
i don't listen to theo much but he's much more humble, but owning the "i'm just a dumb dude maybe it could be anything man" also gets tiresome because why even listen to it at all if it's just some guy speculating and guessing. both are much better when they are in a group setting with people riffing with them. |

I thought it was interesting when Theo asked Joe Rogan if he should keep being the dumb funnyman or whether he should transition to doing serious news stuff. It's not his game though. Politichs is for people who were born that way.
The problem with both Theo and Tim is they make a lot of money with minimal effort. They'll certainly never walk away from that! |
