One of the truly bizarre things about libs (although in retrospect there are too many inexplicable wrinkles for a healthy mind to delineate in full) is their worship of superiors. They really do live vicariously through celebrities and famous politicians in their party.

Unlike cons who just want to make money and be left alone. Part of being a con is about carving out your own slice of the meritorious pie, building your own private Idaho. While libs live in squalor but they're always somehow able to look up to Clooney and Beyoncé and imagine the life they ought to have. This is because they don't possess the skills to build anything substantial for themselves. They can't crack the nut of selling skills for wages and reinvesting surplus until you own something nobody can take away from you.

This is why independent small businesses are the great enemy of statism. They're profitable, they're numerous, they're self reliant, they're against government intervention. Was reading about Marxism the other day it's interesting but both Marx and Lenin hated agricultural peasants for the same reason. Too rooted in tradition, too independent, too uneducated to realize that all the smart people had cracked the nut of utopia. This was in part why Stalin was so ruthless during the holodomor, because Marx thought that farmers would never be on the side of Communists, who had to be industrialized.
