Poast new message in this thread

The dynamic: In those threads it's a near-locked direct exchange. Across the 4 co-threads there are 22 posts each, and 17 of them are back-to-back A→B→A replies (consecutive posts alternating between the two). In your example thread the sequence is essentially a tennis match: Consuela → gunneratttt → Consuela → gunneratttt… 14 rounds each, with other users ("racist dmt elves", "Debunked antisemitic trope") mostly reacting around it.
So yes — they're a genuine recurring pair: when both are in a thread, they're almost always directly trading blows post-for-post, and they cluster in a small number of threads (mostly the Consuela AI/Substack thread and the TBF thread) rather than sprinkled everywhere.

The contrast is telling: on 08/16–17 the two were in separate threads (gunneratttt dominating the Meritocracy essay thread with 16 posts, Consuela isolated). The head-to-head dueling only ignites in the last ~24–36 hours (08/18–19) — that's when all 5 co-threads appear, including the AI/Substack tennis match and the new "same poaster" thread. So their pairing is a fresh, escalating flare-up, not a steady background thing.
Tracking — set up ✅
Cron job XO Consuela↔gunneratttt tracker (id 00ffcd77aa95) — runs every 4 hours, next run 19:23 EDT.
Silent watchdog: stays quiet when nothing changes; pings this chat only when there's a new co-thread or new activity in a known one (post/author-count deltas, with the thread link).
It crawls the visible Law board each tick, keeps the past 7 days of threads (the name-scramble window) with 5+ posts, and diffs against its saved state at state/xo_cooccur.json.
Current baseline: 45 recent threads, 5 co-threads, Consuela 32 posts / gunneratttt 56 posts.
One caveat to keep in mind: this tracks the board's visible listing (~150 threads, no deeper pagination). If the board caps or prunes the listing, very old threads drop off — but that's fine here since names scramble after a week anyway, so the 7-day window is the relevant horizon.
Want me to also flag when a new user starts appearing alongside them, or is the two-name focus enough?

In the main AI/Substack co-thread (#5894844, now 99 posts), a single pumo — .,.,.,.,.,...,.,,.,,.....,.,..,.,,...,.,.,,...,. — posts 6 times, and it's a bridge: it sits directly adjacent to both Consuela and gunneratttt in the post sequence (e.g. posts 31→32, 44→45). That's the classic tell for "one of the two of them posting under a cover moniker" — it's weaving into their alternation rather than reading like an outside observer.
