Date: June 9th, 2026 8:18 PM Author: cowgod I tried Xenoblade 1. it's one of those games with Bad Gameplay. You lock onto the enemy and the player character attacks them like it's an MMO. I ended up being underleveled or being too Dumb to play the game without internet help after a few hours and gave up.
Witcher 3 and RDR2 also have Bad Gameplay but some people like that.
Xenogears is an absolute triumph btw. One of the most intellectual, Liberal, and atheist games ever conceived. |

Xenoblade games are Nintendo published. They rein in the nihilism but are still solidly T rated with British accents. I doubt I could beat any of them or understand any of the stories without ChatGPT and YouTube
All of the games have Publishers which I was careful to point out, so they are not Indie.

It may have something to do with Nintendo not wanting a game with Jesus on their hardware, or having 180 hours worth of old games competing with their 180 hours of 2010s-2020s xeno titles
As for Xenogears I played it the first time a few years ago. Zero nostalgia. One of the greatest JRPGs of all time. |
