The names of all the voters in these precincts are public. They should have gotten a list of everyone in these precincts who voted in 2012, identified potential GOP voters based on whatever info they can link those names to (past campaign contributions, home value, race, job, gun ownership, etc.). Then contact the 500 most promising hits, and see if anyone will sign an affidavit saying they voted for Romney.
Even without contacting voters they could just match the 19k names to political contributions to see if anything looks fishy. |

Like you pointed out, it would not be difficult to actually prove the "no votes in 57 precincts" fraud, and this was egregious enough to probably warrant a real investigation or even reform, but they don't do it. Just find 100 white men in these precincts and ask them if they voted for Romney, it doesn't seem that hard.
I cannot answer, nor do I have any real guesses, as to why this is. |
