The gains with blacks have to be added to blacks who would have voted Dem but stayed home and didn't. You don't always need to get someone to vote for you, but taking a vote away from your opponent is powerful. Trump's rise with blacks was like a blocked shot. There are certainly enough minorities in the blue wall to sink Republicans forever if they were motivated, but they didn't show up. in backrooms and online backrooms like xoxo it's ok to recognize the reality that the GOP is the party white people, which is a good indication it's the most sensible.
outside of that, the goal isn't to do a victory lap and potentially shoot ourselves in the foot by emphasizing how the vast majority of white people vote GOP. the reason people emphasize brown voters going GOP is because it cuts against GOP being the party of racism. the same reason every Candace owens and ben carson is venerated.
if you ask nigs why they vote democrat it's because "republicans are racist". the more this is diminished the better.
also ljl at "giving the win" to them. as if you "won." you voted. the best thing you can do to ensure more victories is to stop bitching about people emphasizing the increase in brown gop voters as some sort of personal slight. |
