Long story short, I know some dudes at the ALMA. Mostly Chilean bros, but a smattering of Argies and Uru-gays too. Took some persuading, but as long as me and my friends are decently smart, and have a "curiosidad cientifica", there are probably some jobs for us there. Can't say the pay is great, but more than enough for a decent room, decent food, and cervezas.
Basically, its about 20 or 30 bros who show up at the lab around 4PM, drink coffee and philosophize, and then stargaze all night. Expect to get back to bed around 8AM.
Worse ways to finish out this life. And dont mention we were lawyers. They think Emilio is a washed up pro surfer, fascinated by the heavens.
Which in my mind, he will always be
