Stress and sleep deficits (which are closely related) are huge factors in what you described. Well, I guess age heightens their impact, but you might do a lot better if you can get a consistent 7-8 hours for a couple weeks |

As for your sleep, you have good nights and bad nights. Getting less than 6 hours will make your memory less sharp on a given day, for sure.

I too am a tech lead and I am always surprised by how many times i see duplicated code. One of the first things you learn in CS101 is to create a new function/method to put your duplicate code in. |
