If you just need a website so clients know you're legitimate and you aren't actually trying to generate any level of significant business from the website, than 10k is way too much and you should just hire someone on fiverr or some shit to do it for a few hundred bucks.
If you are actually trying to rank, develop SEO, etc. you will need to spend at least 10k on the website and at minimum several thousand per month to build out content, backlinks, etc. |

I run a PI practice and did this initially and ended up having to redo it from scratch with a reputable firm a year or so later as the website was actually tanking my rankings because it was all fucked up in the backend. |

One of my partners is a true believer in investing in this shit, and the cost isn't so great that anyone wants to fight him over it, but I personally would just use squarespace or whatever it's called. |
