And that's the only benefit they bring: the ability to put more RAM on a GPU. Actual performance is stagnant. It's a mobile design that doesn't scale up apparently, because AMD has NOTHING in the pipeline.
Intel Nova Lake is going bust their holes with an iGPU that competes with discrete graphics cards. Nvidia's holes might even get busted if Intel can make CUDIMMs run fast enough. It only costs Nvidia $50 to put 24gb of RAM on a video card it sells for $2k. The memory modules literally cost $2 per 2gb and Nvidia is selling this shit at 100x markup. |

Early details on Nova Lake's architecture imply the chipset will have a hybrid integrated GPU that combines Intel's Xe 3 and Xe 4 graphics architectures on the integrated graphics tile.
