there used to be a fun mix of run and pass that gave teams different personalities. mixing up runs with deep passes made things exciting and unexpected, and allowed for explosive plays driven by pure athleticism on the part of the RB. who are the top 5 RBs now? how come i can't watch QBs just gun it down the field all the time anymore? it's all the same boring system offense.
and they can't even get hit for real anymore. it used to be a joy to watch the old ravens defense, or to watch brian urlacher absolutely demolish a WR running a slant. defense is not exciting at all anymore.
teams turn over like 70% every year except for QB and a few premium position players. and if you don't have a decent QB, forget it, there's nothing there. what am i rooting for?
or am i supposed to be into it for scarfing down wings and ipas at 4pm every sunday with a bunch of lawyers and accountants in replica jerseys? is this cool? idk. seems gay. |

It's also been infected by DEI AIDS. There are a ton of black coaches and players who ought to be fired but can't get fired because they're black.
In all the league is extremely complacent outside of a handful of teams. There's also no star power anymore. There was a time where Brady, Manning, Manning, Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Warner, Favre, and Wilson all played at the same time or within a couple years of each other.
Now there's only 1 famous QB plus Josh Allen who's on a cursed franchise and Lamar who can't throw but is a super star because he's black.
It's all so tiresome but nothing is going to change once you get down to Sperm Lottery Winner IV as an owner. Instead they rely on profit sharing, jersey sales, and now gambling which is their most lucrative endeavor ever. |

Giants, Steelers, and Cowboys have completely thrown in the towel on ever trying again. If one of these teams were in it every year the sport would come back.
Patriots ran the league for 20 years and now are nearly winless.
So much atrocious football and owners who don't care. Kraft and Jerry and Art Blank drink and fuck hookers all day. So does Mark Davis and all these idiots. Most teams today in the league are really bad franchises that are poorly run. To say nothing of the Titans, Jags, Browns, Bengals, Bears, Skins, Cardinals. It's hard to think of a franchise that isn't a loser franchise. |

I have no interest in other games that my team isn’t in - never watch those anymore even as background.
Agree with Doodikoff that the new college football reality is ruining the sport and traditions, as is conference realignment. It’s all just greed. |
