even the people who appear to be operating entirely independently are talking to people on back channels. they have friends and help each other out and find ways to boost each other, or feed each other ideas. and if you want friends you can't take autistic, contentious stands on "principle" at every juncture - you can disagree, even openly, but you can't have open conflict. and you have to reconcile with that kind of compromise because otherwise nobody cares what you have to say about trump or kamala or hillary clinton or "seth smith" or anything, we get enough of it. you can work towards something big and different but you can't take the staircase away from yourself first, you need to work with others to grow within a community.

(this is doubly true with "groypers" because the "movement" exists almost exclusively to promote fuentes and whatever is on his mind that day, but that's the game that karl chose to play and you need to know the rules)

i think your other core problem is that you really had no particular intellectual or artistic goal to work towards at all, you just wanted to be a personality and live independently. which is understandable enough, but you got bored of the only work that was getting you there. your presentation to the economists on the EJMR doxxing paper was really good and well-received, and you haven't done any shit like that since, and you've made yourself too much of a pariah to get an audience from serious people like that ever again. very few of these twitter shitheads have any inroads as serious as that, and you went and fucked it up - and now you're even fucking up the groyper relationships for which you sacrificed those inroads. if you just want to be an "influencer" and live an independent lifestyle without having any ideas or projects that you feel strongly about to get you there, then you're getting exactly what you deserve, and what was always coming.
