I guess my complaints would be that (1) it was a spoon-fed version of the Sopranos ending, (2) it missed an opportunity to explore the longer term ramifications of his defeat
I liked how the last season involved a massive time skip. It should've jumped ahead much further at the very end |

it's very similar to dragon show in that it's completely forgotten because of the weakness of the latter seasons. |
