I am 100% sure I don't want to bring a new life into this world, but at 32, I decided that I should freeze some eggs just in case something changes in the distant future. I plan to foster/adopt, but I wanted to have a backup in case something makes that impossible and I still want to be a parent and can't do it naturally by then.
Honestly I pursued this in part because I was so interested in seeing my stats. The women in my family are extremely fertile and I knew that my numbers would be great based on my phenotype, but holy shit they were practically off the charts. Exceptional for a woman of ANY age, not just an almost-33yo. At my consultation when we did the ultrasound the doctor literally said "it's an egg factory in here!" lmfao. Here are my numbers if you want to fact check how good they are: AFC=32, cd3 AMH=5.03, cd3 inhibin B=159, cd3 FSH=4.06, cd3 estradiol=27.9, no PCOS
Due to my ABUNDANT RESERVE and EXCELLENT HORMONAL RESPONSIVENESS the doctor put me on a very conservative cycle. I ended up freezing 25 mature eggs, which is basically the optimal outcome. Any more and it would've been painful for me. The process involved injecting myself multiple times per day, which quickly got rid of my fear of needles. It was pretty intense but now it's a skill I have if I ever need to inject something again. This was in 2024 btw.

LMK if you change your mind, sis. (I'm 6'2" btw).

Was there any cost to you for this procedure? Do you have any recurring costs for storing them?
Would you consider letting others use your harvested eggs?
Very on brand to somehow extract stats/ranking out of this.
At one time, I wanted to start a band called HUMAN CAVIAR. Please rate, and what kind of music would that band play?

Yeah I paid like $14.5K out of pocket, it sucked, but I feel better having this backup. The storage is $100/yr recurring iirc.
I would sell some to others yes, if they're gonna have a kid anyway and find my genetic profile desirable. I think my genes are solid other than my horrible proprioception and athletic ineptitude.
Lmao yeah, someone reminded me that CSLG poasted his T levels and this is kinda similar, which is cringe but whatever. I'm proud of my confirmed insane fertility.
HUMAN CAVIAR is 180. Definitely antinatalist techgrind.
Based on this very short clip rate my song choice for karaoke the other night: https://vocaroo.com/17XCTZyeME15

180, obviously. Did you scare the shit out of everyone?
I'm impressed with the mic's clarity. Was the setup a karaoke bar kind of thing, or did you have a room for your own group?
I have a very hard time with karaoke because I absolutely cannot stand to hear people sing poorly, especially music I'm familiar with.

Haha I hope I scared people. It went over great, as it almost always does. People in L.A. love my shtick.
It's a local divey karaoke bar with a solid sound system.
That's so funny that you have such a low tolerance for bad singing. I enjoy the shitty performances almost as much as the good performances; I'm just vibing. In L.A. the median karaoke performer is actually quite good lol.
