You weren't advocating for financial irresponsibility, but your views were basically "the majority of Americans are fiscally irresponsible and their kids aren't shooting up schools, who cares".
Personally, that's like saying "the majority of Americans drive drunk, who cares". But I'm not interested in arguing with you on this point.
If living a frugal, sensible, and down-to-earth lifestyle is "out of touch" with America, I'm damn proud to be out of touch and if I have kids I'll be passing those selfsame out-of-touch values on to them. |
