Public school ranking sites are 100% flame

Imagine my surprise when I clicked on a house and saw what I thought was a decent neighborhood with a 4/10 ranking on greatschools. I just assumed like the thread from earlier that this once great city had been colonized by congoids or gautexicans, but the house was so nice I wanted to double check their work. It turns out, the school district rated 10/10 for academics with over 95% graduation and over 75% bound for 4-year universities. They however were rated 3/10 for "equity" because nonwhite students performed lower than whites + asians, and thus received only a 4/10 overall score - the same as Detroit public schools that are actual nigger thunderdomes but since everyone fails equally, the equity score is 10/10 (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=5544713&forum_id=2...id#47773670) |

In shitlib cities you want that 5-10% diversity score and it can actually help your kid get into college because those URMs win a bunch of national awards every year that helps with school prestige.
If there is one thing an Ivy admissions person wants to hear it's "my kids went to school with the Obamas." It's its own flex. "Actually, you won't believe this, but the other day I was dropping off my WASP offspring and guess who I saw? Barack and Michelle!" If you can associate your kids with token prestige URMs it's probably best case scenario. You're going to get in before the NESCAC suburban kids unless obviously they're Jewish and legacy admits and really active in GSA and Jews for Peace.
But ljl at this ever happening in a backwater like Detroit. This is all moot for OP. He may as well start simping for Hillsdale. |
