Elise’s dedication to UChicago has been inspiring to witness up close. As Chief Operating Officer for UChicago IT Services, she’s led with vision and integrity—driving key initiatives across finance, HR, vendor management, facilities, and more. Her ability to bring people together and champion operational excellence has made a lasting impact on every team she touches.

Before that, Elise was Deputy Dean of the College, shaping programs that continue to benefit students today. Her expertise in operational strategy, budgets, and talent development is matched only by her commitment to the University’s mission.

On top of all that, Elise has a Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from UChicago and is a devoted parent to our two lab school kids. Her connection to this community runs deep, both at work and at home.

In her new role, Elise will oversee finance, budget, and strategic operations, and help lead new initiatives to strengthen the University’s future. She’ll continue to foster collaboration and growth across Facilities Services, IT Services, Human Resources, and the Department of Safety and Security.
