I agree with your third sentence, but a lot of "being taken advantage of" is a confluence of allowing leaders to serve themselves instead of the nation and allowing women to emasculate society in order to pursue unachievable feel-good social harmony. It's only fair and right to accept that those in power have a strong share of fault when they do bad shit or stand aside to let bad shit happen

People have been fucking bombarded with insane propaganda for decades (driven primarily by jews) and it has been extremely effective because it takes advantage of the general good nature of the average white person (who isn't necessarily equipped to understand it's propaganda.)
