The one wrong move is this guy actually got a big actress attached to his project which in reality is a great move for the bottom line vs picking some unknown chick who might be easily controlled but isn't a box office draw. He could have made this stupid thing with a submissive nobody and the movie would look the same to all of us but the customers who actually pay for this stuff are 10x more likely to show up if it's starring this psycho airhead vs someone they've never heard of. |

He's a small player in Hollywood and he bought the rights to this book to direct it. At some point Lively signed on to star on it.
Immediately Lively tries to take over his movie asks to re-write scenes, then when he doesnt like the re-writes, she brings in Taylor Swift and Ryan Reynolds for them to tell him how good her re-writes are.
Then halfway through the movie she accuses of him of sexual harrassment (based on claims that are now all disproven), but the studio makes him sign this "i will not harrass anymore agreement" just to continue filming because otherwise Lively walks and the movie is fucked.
Then apparently he edited the movie, but Lively wanted to edit it herself - so he reaches a deal with the studio that they'll release the higher performing cut. Allegedly his cut wins, but Lively threatened to not promote the film unless they used hers.
So then the movie premieres and Lively says she won't attend the premiere if he does - so he has a separate premiere he attends without the rest of the cast.
And when he's asked about a sequel, he graciously says "Blake should direct the next one" and says nothing.
But then Lively starts getting shit for promoting her brands in a movie about domestic violence, and she blames it on his PR firm (which might be somewhat true), so she starts making this feud public and blows up both of their careers.
I don't think Baldoni will ever work again and I think Lively's options are going to be much more limited going forward... |

And even when you test screen the audience picks you and instead of accepting reality this crazy bitch just doubles down on everything and drags you over a cliff.
