I'm experimenting with Callaway Elyte Heavenwood, Mizuno st-max 230 4H and Callaway Super 3H in the lab this weekend
Bigger issue is that I hit my driver 230 now and mini 200

I picked up a used G425 12 degree that I'm gaming as a "2W" at 44.5" playing length. Only "problem" so far is I'm hitting it too far, so it's really just been more of a draw-biased driver when I want to move it right to left. Going to cut a spare shaft down to 44 or 44.25 and maybe loft up to 13 |

Haven't tried it off the deck yet but would imagine the turf interaction is way better than any ping G driver |

Currently pulled my 5 wood out and playing a g430 3h lofted down to 18 as my longest club off the deck. I seem to get along better with hybrids than fairway woods currently, and I can hit that 225-245 on good strikes, which is within 5 or 10 yards of what I was getting with the 5W (http://www.autoadmit.com/thread.php?thread_id=5740943&forum_id=2...id.#49036230) |

20 years ago you’d have a 300 something cc head but 45” with 8 or 9 degrees loft. “tee it high and let it fly” most of the time. different than how you’d hit a FW off the tee and harder to control
the “mini” drivers are more like a 2 or strong 3 wood loft. you shouldn’t be teeing it up high trying to get maximum launch like you might with a driver |

ping should make something similar with the full face grooves, eye 2 shape and sole but lower bounce. they could call it the flopr |
