I like Claude and Gemini for legal. And I let NotebookLM sort through discovery too.
For prompts just give it as much info as you can and ask it for everything you want including explaining everything to you, like: “I’m a lawyer for the plaintiff in x county in x state before judge x, detailed description of case, analyze strengths and weaknesses of x and write me a motion for x. Identify potential counterarguments. Summarize recent developments in case law. Explain every step and why it’s important.”
