There’s a lot to learn from his tenure as a public intellectual for anyone who actually wants to change policy in this country. He’s a much more durable and capable asset with a much higher IQ than eg Rufo even though Rufo has been shockingly effective (though I would attribute a lot of that effectiveness to luck and timing).
