Its ok. But due to the huge bottle it comes in half will go rancid before you can use it unless youre an italian family of 8.

The sicilian oils I've had have been super spicy/peppery and great on bread bruschetta salads etc but are unsuitable for cooking

Also very "wet". Not sure how to describe it

I like the butter savoriness of cretan oils the best of all

Italian olive oil is flame.

Italy keeps the best olive oils for their domestic market. They export their trash to the rest of the world.

I'm not saying you can't get good Italian olive oil, rather the Italian stuff you buy at big box stores is trash.

You have a better chance of getting a decent bottle if it's from Spain.

Costco organic olive oil is my primary source of fat. i just flat-out drink two tablespoons a day and sprinkle it onto some meals.

tastes like fucking olive oil. i literally drink tablespoons of it. i drink it to get healthy fats, not for taste. if you eat for taste you're probably going to be a fat fuck until you stop doing that

this has nothing to do with coding and everything to do with the Mediterranean diet. olive oil is one of the foundations of that diet

Update: olive-bitter, peppery, and the mouthfeel is too viscous

My olive oil guy Bob Sakamano says the midprice of the 3 is the best and that the Italian was a mistake
