Date: August 8th, 2024 4:19 PM Author: aromatic pink corn cake I appreciate simple things like seeing my daughter smile and play more than I ever thought I would. Maybe that has more to do with just being a new dad than cancer- it’s hard to separate the two .
I definitely am just more emotionally raw in general, tearing up more etc. my parents have become like this too
I guess the biggest Change is realizing I can always die a lot younger than I expected, which has made me more humble and a little more empathetic towards people struggling with chronic diseases and bad fortune. |
