I was at an episcopal church yesterday and we recited the apostle's creed. I'm not catholic but it seems like it's derived straight from catholicism except they ordain women and reject the pope?

At this point why not just return back to the catholic church? Are ppl still pissed at the pope? It seems weird to retain all the same traditions but reject the major one, like forming up a church and accepting everything in the bible but saying it's okay if you wanna reject Jesus. At least protestant sects believe you can have a personal relationship with Him so they don't need all the pomp and circumstance of a mass
