I’m 12 years older and she texts me goofy stuff unrelated to law and I give her relationship advice. Shes been an attorney for 2 years as well.
My Junior associate and her are sitting down she’s giggling and eating a salad and he’s eating a sandwich both from the same place. My heart basically sunk into my stomach. I walked in and was like oh you went to that sweet greens place? Shes like oh yeah sorry! I didn’t even think to text you to see if you wanted anything.
I was like oh no it’s ok. Then I told the Junior to get up and go to sweet greens and get me a sandwich. He looked at me and I said NOW. He got up and went and got me one. In the meantime I sat there and started talking to her. She was all uncomfortable. This happened Wednesday and then we couldn’t get into the office Thursday bc the parade now it’s Juneteenth (like every other female in the office) and she didn’t come in but I did.
