Do it for her is 6th season so not what I’m taking about. I was going to make an epic post about how “DON’T FORGET, YOU’RE HERE FOREVER,” is emblematic af about what the 90s represented. As if the most wretched fate a working man could imagine was being Trapped at his job that he doesn’t get laid off from, making mortgage payments on his 40,000k House surrounded by white people and a Gen X guy (Grimey) does all the work, and there’s only one black guy and he’s a nuclear Engineer. The idea of his billionaire boss not knowing his name is considered a grievous slight by Homer. And Mr Burns is an old money WASP instead of a Jew or Indian like irl. They’ve found more ways to make things worse than anyone could’ve imagined. |
