NHK was a better book than 1Q84, but Tokyopop is a shit publishing house with no creds in the US so nobody in the US has heard of the book, but Random House is a major publishing house so everybody who is literate has read 1Q84. Pisses me off how much it matters who the publisher is. |

Looks like its out of print which is just sad. I really do think its one of the best books of the past 20 years. Its shows you again just what going with a shit publisher does. Had it been published by one of the big 3 it would have sold 10x more copies in the US.
Nice to know the copy I paid $8 for in 2004 is now worth $30. |
