I said that the nail in the coffin was like 9 months ago when The Rock said no one he knows is a Biden fan. That was the queue that Biden was over. The curiously early debate followed by Biden's predictable performance seems obviously telegaraphed.
But I'm puzzled by how things are going down though. Why is Biden Tweeting today that he's the president and will not resign? Why are people now resigned to putting up Kamala instead of some obvious deep state person like "Mayor" Pete?
It's like we have more evidence now than ever that this secret cabal of power brokers is pulling the strings, but also that they're too stupid to actually get Biden in on the plot... |

They will make him out to be a lovable loser who is going down with principles and morality. Part of why it would be too hard to drop out is what to do with the campaign donations. It's too messy. Another reason is that no one who could win in 2028 is going to risk it now. It's suicidal. Why would Newsom or Whitmer want to have this whacky loss on their record. They just have to pivot to trying to keep the Senate and keeping their core fanbase happy.
Also people outside of liberal enclaves just don't hate Trump anymore. It's only the real whackjobs. The country is moving back towards the center politically. It's almost addition by subtraction to the left because they are going to drop some of the more radical stuff and that will give them a better chance going forward. |

Plan can't be accomplished without the first step as Biden would otherwise call the Convention Coup an event comparable to Jan 6th & destroy the Dems with their own weapon.
Due to candidate filing deadlines, it has to be either Biden or Harris, so they were going to try to give Harris an incumbency boost. |
