Tatum and Brown are mediocre superstars who were outplayed by the only real star they saw in the playoffs (Luka)
That said, the team played elite defense and Jrue and White are legitimate championship pieces
They just weren’t challenged enough and the playoffs sucked ass |

So even at 90%ish strength they basically swept through the playoffs.
Probably would've been much better for the NBA to have 2 flashy players like Luka/Kyrie win, but basically the Celtics just have 6 well-rounded players who shoot and defend. |

LJL @ how easy Boston fans have it. They're all Patriots fans so they're tied for the most Super Bowls including a recent dominant franchise. They're Celtics fans so they have the most NBA championships and are the reigning NBA champions. They're Red Sox fans so they're tied for fourth in most World Series of all times and just won it all in 2018 and have won four times total since the turn of the century. Christ, is there another city that comes close to having so many titles *and* recent success in the three major sports? |
