No, there versions for each of the five tools. Next week it will be how many runners could you throw out at home on a short fly out to center.

how many hrs does the average starting non-pitcher hit in a season? realistically, probably no more than that plus 20-30% unless i happen to get hot or something.

i have the power/speed to hit a lot but i’d probably just strike out every time.

i played baseball up through hs but tbh i’d be straight up scared of being pitched to at 100mph and would flinch

It's actually easier to hit home runs in the MLB because they throw the ball faster. So at least like 6 imo.

I think if I was only trying to hit home runs probably around 12-15. I would probably bat .150 though.

If I could get DH, I could focus only on power and not worry about the defensive side of the ball. If I got in a division with bad pitching, I feel like 20 is a realistic goal. Makes a big difference because you play in-division teams a lot more-- the White Sox singlehandedly made every other team in that division look better this year lmao

20 is high. Most players don't hit 20. 10 would be more reasonable.

Most players have to focus on the defensive part of the ball, though. In this hypo you can be the DH and only train on hitting.

But MLB players have natural talent advantages over normal people and people underestimate how good MLB pitchers are. 10 is reasonable if a person has experience playing baseball.

My bat speed and hand eye coordination are really good, power is decent. If I'm just swinging for the fences each at bat, I probably hit 15 or so hr per season. If I'm trying to help the team win, I wouldn't go for power each at bat and probably end up closer to 5-10 hr each season.
