Yes, skiing from the glacier into Italy is 78687396238746, but I dinged Zermatt a little for being TOO CHILL at night.

Haven't been, aren't the Bulgarian resorts light on terrain? Seems it'd get boring after a few days. I like the euro places with loads of terrain linked so you can ski for ages, like the XO Sellaronda in the Dolimiti Superski.

Taos is great. Has a really unique vibe.

If you're good and enjoy steep powder you will love it. There is some decent beginner terrain but it's famous more for the steeps.

Vail (Back bowls), Whistler, Steamboat, and Telluride in that order are my top 4. My favorite apres ski environment was at Crested Butte.

Nothing really compares to heli/cat skiing at a place like Tordrillo though.

For sure... you should definitely look into Tordrillo if you're coming all the way up here. My GF's brother is a guide there. If you're coming up, it's definitely worth your time.

FWIW, it's the worst snow winter I can ever remember. Heading to Maui in a couple of days and I don't feel like I'm missing any skiing.

Everything around Tahoe is fun. Not best snow wise but some of best views and things to do outside of slopes. Just outside Tahoe is Kirkwood which is really good terrain with great steeps.

What’s the best U.S. location based on these criteria: (1) proximity to airport; (2) lessons/bunny slopes for younger kids; (3) good tavern culture to crush IPAs and work while the kids ski? Will have to work a ton, unfortunately.
