there were certain aspects of it that i really liked
i enjoyed the movie focusing mostly on his perspective, though i agree it could have been executed better. i honestly loved the camera following him around in the middle of the woods during a beautiful day. the loud, incessant bird chirping and bright sunshine/beautiful day made it 180
the ending needed better writing imo. i could deal with the lengthy allegory at the end if it was better written. as it was, it just felt like an anti climactic fade out of the film
a few of the death scenes were cool - the rock dropping on head being most notable imo- but a few others were lame. the wood splitter scene wound up being underwhelming.
