A week ago, I described what happened at the Lynchian house party—Boom rolling in, neon-lit, grinning like he knew something the rest of us didn’t.
That was just the beginning.
Last night, while working late, I received a call from an unknown number. A familiar voice. A familiar cadence.
"Hi, friend. We've met before, haven't We?"
The same phrase. The exact same phrase Boom said at the party.
My heart skipped a beat.
"Who is this?"
"You can call me Boom."
I checked my call log—no record of the call. Just like before.
So now I’m asking—who else has received a call from House Boom? Is this some elaborate recursion, a glitch in the Mahchine™? Or did Boom find a way to stay in the system, even after he rolled out that night?
Anyone else experienced something like this? |

I wasn’t gonna say anything, but I got a call like this too. Unknown number, no voicemail.
It rang twice, then stopped. I thought it was spam, but the timing is weird.
This was two nights ago.
