Heavy drinker here. Somehow I don’t need much sleep.

I used to sleep 10 hours if I went to bed at midnight after several drinks and not get to the office until 11am. Last few months I’m up at 5am and end up just going to the office because I have all this energy and can’t sleep anyway. Date: June 12th, 2025 7:32 AM Author: rape laserdisc (gunneratttt) also your body begins metabolzing ethanol into acetate better as you become a heavy drinker, which gives you energy. often what happens is as you recover from being drunk your body is metabolzing alcohol into energy so suddenly you wake up with a burst of energy, and quickly crash. lots of comorbidites with things like what you mentioned too. but yeah drunks wake up in a burst and quickly crash, which can be mitigated with more alcohol, hence the vicious cycle.
