There are literally dozens of "Megaman" games out there that all Gamers are supposed to agree in unison that are good, but that no one really played more than a level or two, because its the Same Shit over and over

They're also boring and annoying because if you don't have a strategy guide you have to keep replaying the levels in order to figure out which boss you can beat first using the regular gun, and then the order to go in.

Figuring how to crack the game through trial and error is the fun part. If they just gave you the correct order from the start, it would be pointless.

It's not really fun though.

There's no exploration really. You're just playing through the same levels repeatedly just to get to the boss, where you finally have a chance to try something different (use a different weapon on him).

I much preferred more open NES/SNES games like the Metroids, Bionic Commando, Goonies II, etc.

A lot of millennials didn’t really get into Games until like the Fifth Gen so they won’t understand imo. Mega Man is a seminal work for Xennials. I don’t really care if some Xer like doodikoff or a later millennial like sull56ivan doesn’t get what the fuss is about. They’re some of the best NES games. The difficulty is pretty fair too especially by the standards of the time. Mega Man X is one of the best SNES games. Discuss.

It’s one thing for a 2 hour Film to do an homage or a remake but Games are long af and tedious.

Mega Man difficulty is hugely overblown. Yeah you'll die your first few times against a boss, but most of them can be beaten in 1-2 evenings if you're putting in serious effort.

Mega Man 2 in particular is actually quite easy for an NES game.
