We are never going back, we cannot have someone in the White House that will destroy democracy. This late into the game, her internals must show this is the only message that could shave off a few votes from Trump anymore. Just a complete white flag on her ability to handle the economy or the border.
Trump knows this which is why he’s just going full speed ahead into public events that are juicing his likability as much as possible. Butler Rally, Al Smith dinner, working at McDonalds - all of these are endearing, he’s not saying dumb shit the media can run a cycle on. Nobody is going to look at the same guy that was joking around while serving fries to proles and call him some sort of zealot.
Seriously. It’s never been more over for Kamala. I hesitate to make predictions, but I don’t think this election will be particularly close at all. |

Id make two seemingly contradictory responses: one the one hand, trump is 1000x more moderate than you are being led to believe he is. It is not just a joke that he is a 1980s and 1990s democrat. Its a fact. His manner of speaking casual English ("they want me to be a dictator. Yeah Ill be a dictator for one day...") of course gives license to bad faith enemies to ramp up your anxiety, but he's standard-issue status quo for nearly every institution, as we saw for four years with our own eyes.
on the other hand, you are correct that trumpenprole do in fact want the destruction of many institutions. the argument you miss, though, is that this stems from a deep conviction that these institutions have already been perverted beyond redemption. Thoughtful trumpenprole, who exist as surely as Ill admit thoughtful progressives exist, would tell you that it IS scary and dangerous to find yourself without trusted institutions, but that this is already the case. |
