Mexican resorts do the same. Some places it’s just certain pools, chairs, butler service so you don’t have to fight for reservations. Sometimes it’s almost a completely different experience. Hard Rock Cancun is an example of the latter. |

Here are my experiences over several cruises: - white kid about 11 or 12, enters the elevator and presses all the buttons. There were a bunch of us in the elevator was going from deck 2 to Lido, which is I think deck 9 or 10. - white kid put his hand into the chocolate fountain, took a nice big lick, and then put that hand right back. - young black man in elevator saying something in nigga-speak that I couldnt even understand. i think he was showing off infront of his negress. - young black man in the hottub bullying the asian security guy for no reason. oddly enough he was very well spoke and polite to me. (Royal Caribbean) - indian lady jumping to the front of the line. i think she felt that she was superior to everyone else and didn't need to bother to stand. i saw her do this multiple times during the cruise. - i was holding a table as my family went to get food. a bunch of prole white kids just sat down. i tried to tell them that I was waiting for people. they ignored me. - in the dining area seating, i guess some white lady behind my wife didn't have enough space to get her fat ass into her chair. she just pushed my wife's chair (with my wife in it) to get into hers. no "excuse me." nothing. - saw two prole whites going at it in the bar. - saw security stationed outside a room. so basically these people were not allowed to get out and could only order room service for meals. actually i saw this on two separate occasions. once white dude, once black dude. - little shit indian kid (6,7 y/o) telling me i should not be in the same hot tub as his family was sitting in. (Royal Carribean) - well tattoed white couple majorly disappointed that I chose to ruin their little romantic time in the hottub. they didn't say anything to me but were saying something to each other (Royal Carribean) - many people are rude, don't stand in queue, etc.
It's shit. Unfortunately I have status so I stick with Carnival (and RC).

Once you're on the boat, there is always stuff to do and eat. No driving anywhere, no making reservations, etc. - The kids like it. Also wife and I can dump kids in the kids camp and just hang out. We don't do this a lot but it's nice to do occasionally. - Like I said, I have status so I do get some little perks that make things a tad easier. The biggest ones being priority boarding and off-boarding. - The other option is flying somewhere. Guess what! Airlines are shit too. I cannot rationalize paying first class for the entire family. Atleast not yet. Maybe in a couple of years we'll probably jsut do that.
