It's interesting that comedians like Gillis, who was canceled way harder than Sam, are lighting the world on fire and taking every other comedian with them. And Sam and Shane have done pods and know each other. It seems like even edgy comedians like Shane, Mullen, Hinchcliff, etc maintain a very safe distance from Sam because shit like this is at least somewhat morally culpable and they don't want a part of it. |

But his biggest flaw is that he doesn't have a great sense of humor, he's not naturally very funny. He has more flops than hits despite putting out a massive amount of content most of it is unwatchable. You can never convince one of his superfans of this. A very small percentage of people love everything he does. But to a general audience even if you enjoy edgy comedy, he's just not the funniest dude alive. I think he thinks he's funnier than he is. His style is unique for sure and he takes angles no one else would do but it's just painful sometimes because he can't land the plane for shit. He should really focus on stand up for two years.
