Vance is the one person who can carry forward the Trump coalition and even expand it by being intelligent and reasonable to suburban centrists without loosing too many of the extreme MAGAtards. Even if Vance has the exact same platform, he doesn't have Trump's baggage or evoke that deeply ingrained visceral hatred so many have for Trump.
Can definitely see Vance sweeping the suburbs big time in 2028 assuming Trump has a decent second term. |

But Vance WAS the elite appeal. He appeals to the elite that actually matters now: neoreactionary/libertarian Silicon Valley types that haven't yet managed to leverage their infinite money into political power. If he gets a chance at governing and cons don't do rape camps/dems don't run an Obama, he'll win two terms on incumbent advantage alone. |
