Apparently the rock bottom RE prices have allowed for a lot of establishments/businesses/venues that you typically wouldn't see in the US and the local culture is pretty eclectic from a mixture of refugees priced out of prior "Keep XYZ Weird" cities

every time i go, i make it a point to go into a random walmart

every single time its like walking into africa or pakistan, where even the workers dont even speak english

its one of the most insane things ive ever seen in my life
