The Los Angeles fires are an interesting case study. The fires are a combined result of (1) fire chief incompetence (not supplying fire hydrants with water to fight the fires) because the fire chief is a butch lesbian who puts wokeness above competence, (2) the quite powerful Santa Monica conservancy which does not conduct any fire prevention measures (because environmentalists sued the state previously to prevent such measures and because the conservancy is staffed with extremely nasty shitlibs), and (3) raping of the insurance companies throughout California across every category (auto, home insurance, etc.) to the extent that home insurers have all pulled out of the Malibu/Pacific Palisades areas leaving only California Fair Plan, which only covers fire, has a $3 million cap and a very high deductible. This is very little coverage for the $5-20 million homes in this area. Basically, there is no escaping the policies of shitliberalism even among the rich and ultra-rich; they think they can escape it in their little bubble, but it will eventually reach them one way or another. This is the result of short term thinking, shitliberalism, boomerism i.e. pushing the can of responsibility down the road, and caring about profits more than long-term societal health.
