Of course. Does the average golfer look that much less athletic than Messi at 5'7''?
To me, golfers look about as athletic as a QB - which makes sense because they're both functions where you have to have amazing athletic ability but your mind, thinking and percision is more important than your measurables (as opposed to a WR or a cornerback where you're in a literally running race 30 times a game).
Look at Tiger Woods - he was never able to dominate after his injuries.
And as much as everyone mocks John Daly, at his peak he actually was pretty in shape.
It's kind of like arguing that football OL players aren't athletic - like they weigh 300 pounds and can outsprint 95% of all men....
