that being said, if spanish speakers want to provide a gender neutral option for the word "latino", it makes more sense to change it to "latine"- which at least still follows the traditions of their language ends in a vowel and is relatively easy on the ear- than "latinx", which just sounds like white shitlibs imposing their will on the spanish language by adding a retarded, awkward-sounding x on the end. |
