I live at my parents house, thanks to this shitty economy. I've been distraught over the election and I can barely keep it together. My dad, however, voted for the fascist, and was watching an interview he was doing. He was doing his standard thing he does when asked a question by CNN. "What a horrible nasty question, etc etc etc."

I couldn't stand it. I stomped into the room and yelled, "You know what I can't wait for? 4 more fucking years of this bullshit!" We argued. His talking points were all the standard parroting you've all heard time and time again.

I told him, "I had to give my gay friends the LGBTQ crisis hotline. I'm scared for them." He says "They're overreacting."

I told him he voted for a child rapist when he just had a granddaughter (my brother's kid). He said "They can't prove that he did."

I told him I, his own son, almost purposely drove into a telephone pole the morning after he won. He yelled at me not to say that. Not a single ounce of regret in his voice. Just anger that I would dare put words to my feelings.

I more or less begged him to regret his decision because of how terrified his own kids are. He didn't care. He kept quoting propaganda.

I'm disgusted.

EDIT: This post is immediately getting brigaded by MAGAts mocking people trying to to mourn. Who fucking does this? My disgust is ten-fold. Trump supporters really are bad people. I can't handle this.
