I refused to show "Lawrence of Arabia" to my kids until it was available as a special re-release at the local cinema.

You don’t get to “show movies” to kids. They’ll hate it. Imagine how many Gen Xers have tried to Curate Star Wars viewing order and failed. ‘Nuff said.

Sorry you're sterile. I also only permit them to play video games on original hardware NES.

with boutique 4K UHD releases they often include multiple different theatrical cuts withs different aspect ratios and runtimes, so if you have 77" 4000K OLED you are basically in Loser Valhalla.

bond movies should be seen in the cinemaplex as if you try to watch one at home you will invariably walk off because it sucks

Imagine watching a new Amazon produced Bond movie on Prime Video with motion smoothing

My Sony Bravia plays EVERYTHING in the prime app with motion smoothing even if I disable it in the hardware settings. The only way to circumvent it is to watch on PS5 afaik.

60 FPS, champ
