If it is new (<15 years) it won't be too bad to maintain and depending on where you are they can be really cheap.

Why would Internet cost more? Why would electricity be much more unless you have electric heat?

right now i live in a place where rent on a shitty studio is probably as much as rent in a mcmansion in flyover country.

Was kidding... mine was $450k. In my area, that's fairly expensive. I know in NY and SF, 450 wouldn't buy you squat.

Yeah... in ARE country your housing dollars go a lot further. I live on a nice lake with jet ski's and float planes. Smallest lots are 1 acre. In the winter it's a huge ice rink and nordic skiing track. Fun stuff!

that's the long term plan bro. want a place on a lake to go kayaking and jet skiing and that's bigger than 5 parking spaces put together

Central air would cost more. I have window units like a prole and only use one at night when I am home because I am a cheap bastard.

my last apartment had window units. those fucking blow. they are noisy and don't work that well. if i bought a place, i would not buy a place with window units

pretty sure all mcmansions come with central air and heating though. suburban houses tend to have central air and heating. only urban proles use window units
