The original strategy may have been COD Exclusivity but they couldn’t do that bc of the Democratic Caucus. I wonder if they would’ve done it regardless. Gamers would’ve been pissed and Phil likes being the good guy. But if they’d had the balls to do that and somehow kept the Democrats at bay, it would be Huge. Scum are legion.
They basically went forward with the merger & gamepass as if COD were exclusive.
If the games were good enough, day 1 gamepass would’ve worked imho
